Update just for Cathy

This is for Cathy, because I love her so.

UPDATE!

Better log a few things first...

Garret was a woman. I could't deal with the clinginess and ragging emotions, so I dumped him and adopted a bad buy that's become even more tame than I. Who'd have thought?

I graduated summa cum lade like I hoped back August. This wasn't the hardest year to maintain the GPA. Now that I'm in my niche I'm virtually unstoppable. Yeah, right. Now I have graduate school to attend to, and I know I still won't be able to stand the sight of Bs, so I'll just have to do my best to avoid them. Besides, I have to, or else I won't get into a great Ph.D. program.

I've decided that I want to edit for Highlights magazine. It's not in NYC, has a great fan base, has incredible job security... and I just like it, okay? I really would love to edit books and magazines. It's been my subconscious dream since I first came to Morgantown and picked English. Sure, the money may not come as easily as it would with law school, but I'll be a hell of a lot happier! Cheers to happiness!

I go back to Morgantown July 30th so that I can be primed and ready for my internship the first of August. I get to learn how to teach rugrat Freshmen. Boy do I have plans for them!

Read of the moment: Catcher in the Rye
Reads of this week: By Blood Possessed (awesome mystery), Bones to Pick (another great mystery), and Clocks (What can I say? At least this one is an Agatha Christie!).
Next book: Twelve Sharp (Janet Evanovich is the BEST contemporary author today)
Other beach books: Peril at End House (another Christie), In Her Shoes, The Devil Wears Prada, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, Derik's Bane, Hang My Head and Cry, Mr. Darcy Book 2... I know I'm forgetting some because I brought a great deal more than that. I'm on my fourth book this week! I can't be done yet!
Book I want more than anything: Ulysses by James Joyce (I want to see this "best book of the 20th century" for myself. Seriously, it has to be great if it beat Gatsby!)

I think that's it for now...

Love you, Cathy!
